Tap Room Staff

We are looking for additional staff in Fort Nonsense Brewing’s taproom to add to our growing team. This part-time position reports directly to our Taproom Manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·         Cleaning the taproom and making sure everything is stocked

·         Taking the necessary preparations prior to an opening shift and/or being able to clean up and close at the end of the night

·         Assisting customers with their beer purchase and being able to answer the age-old question: “What’s good?” (Answer: everything, we hope!)

·         Serving as a tour guide for our production facility and explaining to customers what we do on-site/the brewing process

·         Pouring beer from our tap system

·         Ringing customers up through our POS system

·         Bussing tables and cleaning up after major spills

·         Cleaning glassware and flight handles

·         Switching out kegs and keeping the beer flowing

 

Requirements:

·         ServSafe Alcohol or ETips Certification

·         18 years of age

 

Must be able to:

·         Work nights, weekends and some holidays

·         Have your own mode of transportation

·         Lift 75 lbs

·         Stand for long periods of time

·         Prior experience in bars/restaurants preferred
